We are seeking a Research Analyst to join our fully remote team and contribute to diverse projects including network due diligence, on-boarding and in-depth research. Currently, we support staking in all major ecosystems, such as, Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos networks. A strong interest in Proof of Stake industry is required, as well as solid knowledge of the blockchain technology. Some background in data analysis desirable.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct due diligence in decentralised networks and evaluate the business viability of operating nodes on them using our existing methodology.
2. Collaborate with the Chorus One team to reliably synthesise the industry trends into important financial and technical conclusions to support internal strategy setting.
3. Develop the relationship and manage communication with relevant stakeholders.
4. Engage in the ecosystem to represent us in network communities.
5. Build your area of expertise and contribute to in-depth technical research, like the Quarterly Insights reports.

The ideal candidate:

• Has in-depth expertise in PoS blockchain protocols, and is opinionated on their design choices, e.g. differences in consensus algorithms, staking mechanisms, shared-security models, etc.
• Has a track record of research projects in the blockchain-context.
• Has experience in research and analysis of PoS blockchain technology.
• Can take initiative and work independently.
• Is active in the Solana community and looking for a new challenge and growth opportunity.
