Senior Blockchain Engineer - Wallet Infrastructure & Integrations

Location: Remote - Location: US or EU (remote-first, office optional). Must be in the US, not Canada or in the European Union. France or Paris or as close as possible, always preferred.

Compensation: $160K - $240K

Join a stellar team of leaders and experts in blockchain technology, cryptography, and security to build the backbone of blockchain wallet infrastructure for the next financial era. We are hiring a Senior Blockchain Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of the components that connect our platform to every major blockchain network. This role is both hands-on and strategic, focusing on speed, resilience, and security under high-stakes financial workloads.

You will own the entire lifecycle of blockchain integrations, from low-level data indexing to high-level API design and smart contract development. You will improve our indexing and monitoring infrastructure, ensure secure integrations across diverse networks, and build tools that make our wallet platform faster and easier for partners to adopt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrations & Data Pipelines: Design and implement blockchain indexers, data pipelines, and network integrations across major public and private networks.
  • Smart Contract Development: Develop and maintain smart contracts with a strong focus on security, performance, and reliability.
  • API & Services: Build robust APIs and services that efficiently expose on-chain data for consumption by wallets and financial applications.
  • Performance & Reliability: Troubleshoot indexing issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, and observability for blockchain services.
  • Strategy & Collaboration: Collaborate with product and research teams to prioritize new blockchain integrations and support technical discussions with external partners.
  • Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years specialized in blockchain development.
  • Core Languages: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, plus ideally one systems language (e.g., Rust, Go, C++).
  • Blockchain Tooling: Proven experience building blockchain indexers, explorers, or related tooling.
  • Smart Contract Expertise: Skilled in designing and auditing smart contracts (EVM and non-EVM experience is a plus).
  • Ecosystem Breadth: Familiarity with multiple blockchain ecosystems, including major public networks (Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, etc.) and private/enterprise networks.
  • Data Systems: Expertise with databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, NoSQL) and high-throughput data pipelines.
  • Security: Strong understanding of blockchain security, cryptography, and consensus models.
  • Communication: Clear communicator with experience collaborating effectively across product and infrastructure teams.
  • Compensation: Highly competitive salary range of $160,000–$240,000 per year plus generous equity (150–300 stock options vested over 4 years).
  • Location: US or EU (Remote-First), with optional office space.
  • Health & Retirement: Comprehensive Healthcare and 401K plan, plus coverage for travel expenses.
  • Equipment: Provided with a MacBook Pro + essential equipment.
  • Impact: Work at the intersection of cryptography and finance, building mission-critical infrastructure for the future of decentralized finance.
