We’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and growth-minded Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to join our remote team full-time. This role requires strong QuickBooks skills and a genuine interest in working at the intersection of traditional finance and crypto. You’ll be a key part of our operations, so we’re looking for someone who cares deeply about the quality of their work and is eager to learn and grow.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online
• Record, categorize, and reconcile both fiat and crypto transactions (wallets, exchanges, etc.)
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly reporting and close
• Handle invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll support
• Assist with expense tracking, budgeting, and tax preparation
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling, email management, and document organization
• Support compliance efforts and internal process improvement

What You’ll Bring:

• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years proven experience with QuickBooks Online and general bookkeeping
• Solid understanding of crypto basics (wallets, exchanges, transactions)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and accountable with a proactive mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work full-time during US business hours on a consistent schedule
• A genuine passion for learning and taking ownership of your work

Nice to Have:

• Experience with crypto accounting tools (e.g., Koinly, CoinTracking, Bitwave)
• Familiarity with US accounting principles and crypto tax implications
• Background in startups, fintech, or crypto-related businesses

What We Offer:

• Salary: 40,000 - 65,000 USD (Range for US Employees)
• Token allocation: 10,000 - 20,000 ORCA over 4 years (Range for US Employees)

Initial Screen (30 min)

This chat will be with Isaac, our COO. It's an opportunity for us to better understand your experience and knowledge of Solana, DeFi and AMMs, and an opportunity for you to learn more about the role and the company. You will also learn about Orca's history, present status, and its strategy.

Hiring Manager (60 min)

This will be a conversation with Rebecca, our Head of Finance. She will assess your Finance knowledge and experience, and it’s also a great opportunity for you to learn more about the work culture and day-to-day responsibilities.

Panel Interviews (60 min each)

This round will consist of 2 open-ended interviews back-to-back all conducted the same day. It will be with Tags (CLO) and Kate (Finance).
