Position Summary
As a Smart Contract Developer at Native, you will be an essential part of our dynamic and innovative DeFi asset management team. This role is designed for individuals with a strong passion for blockchain technology, expertise in writing smart contracts in Solidity, and experience working with backend languages like Python or JavaScript.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and optimize smart contracts on blockchain platforms like Ethereum.
- Write clean, efficient, and secure code in Solidity to ensure the integrity and functionality of blockchain-based financial products.
- Work on backend systems using languages like Python or JavaScript to support blockchain infrastructure and data management.
- Integrate smart contracts with backend services, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and maintain best practices in smart contract development.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure the security of smart contracts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and emerging trends in the digital asset management industry.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions and improvements to existing systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum, and the ability to write smart contracts in Solidity.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python or JavaScript).
- Understanding of blockchain security best practices and principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols and decentralized applications (DApps) is a plus.
