Overview
Our client is a next-generation layer 1 blockchain platform that allows developers to create an ecosystem of decentralized applications with 2 core protocols. Fresh off their recent funding, they’re looking to scale quickly by onboarding a Head of Developer Relations to bridge the gap between their developers and users to enable mass adoption.
Responsibilities:
- From the ground up build/scale the developer relations programme working with the engineering/product/marketing teams
- Deliver speeches at Web3 Hackathons and developer conferences whilst also providing live demos and attendee interaction
- Clearly communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences, changing the relevant level of complexity for the relevant stakeholders.
- Utilise Github and Discord to manage/grow the developer communication channels and moderate discussions across forums frequently.
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience working as a developer or evangelist/advocate
- Passion for layer 1 protocols & EVM bridge growth areas within Web 3.0.
- Strong technical background with EVM and Solidity, ideally as an engineer previously
- Strong presence already within major Web3 communities.
- Good public speaking experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with effective communication
- Social and hustling skills; a desire to get out and meet people.
