Blockchain engineer
We’re looking for our founding blockchain engineer to own an area of critical business impact. Our founders have built multiple unicorn startups, and have scaled early teams from 0 into the hundreds. We are moving fast and looking for folks who have a bias for action and can help us accelerate.
You Will:
- Build and deploy smart contracts that meet rigorous audit requirements
- Be integral to implementing novel economic systems built on top of the EVM
- Work regularly with security auditors and external contributors to document and upgrade code
- Support and maintain an active test economy, as well as integrations with partner protocols
- Research and drive high-level decisions about protocol architecture, incentive structures, and features
- Spec, implement, test, and audit protocol upgrades and additions
- Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy, within a collaboratively minded team
- Keep up to date with new blockchain technologies that can drive meaningful product results for our users
We’re looking for you if:
- You’re drawn to the hardest problems with the greatest potential impact
- You combine strong CS/Software Engineering fundamentals with a strong background in math and security
- You have knowledge of cryptography fundamentals and independent interest in health and/or wellness
- You fail fast, prioritize tests, and you’re comfortable up and down the software stack
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience writing high-quality, well-tested Solidity
- Knowledge of the EVM, blockchain technology, and cryptoeconomic protocols
- Strong communication, ownership, and collaboration skills
- The ability to learn and adapt to a rapidly evolving tech stack
- Passion for the benefits of decentralization
