We are looking for a Front End UI/UX Developer with experience and proficiency in React development, and integrating front end websites with web3 technologies. The developer will also architect, develop, test, and deploy front-end code for novel DeFi applications
Responsibilities
- Write clean, re-usable, reliable and performant React code
- Style and animate components based on Figma specifications
- Synchronize smart contract and subgraph data with client-side state
- Create functions that write to the blockchain by calling smart contract methods
- Incorporate more wallet types across other non-EVM chains
- Writing clean, efficient, secure, modular, well-documented and whenever possible reusable code in React, Python or Typescript
- Write code that supports the integration of multiple cryptocurrency wallets with out existing front-end systems
- Design and conduct unit and integration tests
- Participate in planning sessions with product owners and other members of the team to ideate web3 and traditional software solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 3yrs of relevant experience in frontend development and 2 yrs in blockchain
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent practical experience
- Exposure and proficiency in blockchain concepts/theory, smart contracts, and the EVM
- Experience using web3-related libraries like Brownie, web3.js, and ether.js
- Exposure to Web3 tools like hardhat, truffle, waffle etc.
- Ability to develop front-end designs that are scalable for desktop browsers and mobile devices
- Work as individual contributor as well as team player.
Nice to haves
- Experience with one of the major cloud-services providers
- Experience with Next.js, Typescript & TailwindCSS
- Experience with React Hooks or MobX State Management
- Previous experience working in a fast-moving and evolving environment
- Ability to read and interpret solidity smart contracts
- Deep experience working with NFTs in a personal or professional setting
