We are looking for a Front End UI/UX Developer with experience and proficiency in React development, and integrating front end websites with web3 technologies. The developer will also architect, develop, test, and deploy front-end code for novel DeFi applications


Responsibilities

  • Write clean, re-usable, reliable and performant React code
  • Style and animate components based on Figma specifications
  • Synchronize smart contract and subgraph data with client-side state
  • Create functions that write to the blockchain by calling smart contract methods
  • Incorporate more wallet types across other non-EVM chains
  • Writing clean, efficient, secure, modular, well-documented and whenever possible reusable code in React, Python or Typescript
  • Write code that supports the integration of multiple cryptocurrency wallets with out existing front-end systems
  • Design and conduct unit and integration tests
  • Participate in planning sessions with product owners and other members of the team to ideate web3 and traditional software solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum 3yrs of relevant experience in frontend development and 2 yrs in blockchain
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent practical experience
  • Exposure and proficiency in blockchain concepts/theory, smart contracts, and the EVM
  • Experience using web3-related libraries like Brownie, web3.js, and ether.js
  • Exposure to Web3 tools like hardhat, truffle, waffle etc.
  • Ability to develop front-end designs that are scalable for desktop browsers and mobile devices
  • Work as individual contributor as well as team player.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with one of the major cloud-services providers
  • Experience with Next.js, Typescript & TailwindCSS
  • Experience with React Hooks or MobX State Management
  • Previous experience working in a fast-moving and evolving environment
  • Ability to read and interpret solidity smart contracts
  • Deep experience working with NFTs in a personal or professional setting
