Blockchain Developer (Solidity)

THE ROLE

Our mission is to create a space where people and companies will be able to create, produce and provide an extensive range of products and services; and they will be rewarded for doing so.

As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for writing Smart Contracts for our NFT collection. This is one of the founding engineering roles in our fast-growing company. You must love designing and coding smart contracts using Solidity. You will own the modular design and implementation of our core protocol from the ground up. You will have full visibility and input into core strategic, design, and product choices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

• Code Solidity smart contracts and tests according to business requirements;
• Work with teams across time zones;
• Create technical documentation;
• Collaborate closely with the founding team on product and strategic decisions, taking initiatives to incorporate cross-functional insights;
• Advise, from a developer perspective, and contribute to a more efficient building of a product.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2.5+ years of experience writing smart contracts on Solidity;
• Strong working knowledge of Solidity design patterns and Solidity security best practices; writing comprehensive smart contract test suites;
• Experience working with NFT collections;
• An in-depth and up-to-date practical knowledge of NFT;
• Experience creating auction systems including Dutch auctions;
• Exceptional technical communication skills (written and verbal);
• Advanced knowledge of Git, GitHub, and TypeScript;
• Good knowledge of smart contract development tools/frameworks (Truffle, Hardhat);
• Experience collaborating within an engineering team and reviewing code;
• Previous experience with any Backend language (Python, JS, Go, PHP, etc);
• Experience with NFT staking (desirable);
• Good understanding of blockchain gas optimization.
