JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position - No agencies (See notes below)

HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $50 - $75 USD / HR

Job description
Gameplay Programmers with our client work in traditional software suites like Unity to bring to life new web3 play-to-earn games built on blockchain technologies. A typical work week will include prototyping game features as requested by the lead designer, building robust frameworks to handle multiplayer environments, and designing new features & ideas of your own into the games.
Job Responsibilities
- Working in Unity, design and implement core gameplay systems for both 2D and 3D games
- Collaborate with the blockchain team devs to integrate economic incentives into games
- Ideate and prototype new features as requested by the team
- Set up multiplayer and cross-platform compatibility frameworks for future games
Required
- Excellent technical ability in the Unity game development suite
- Portfolio of games created as passion projects or in a company
- Strong knowledge of multiplayer server management and frameworks
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code
- Three or more years of game development experience
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
- Participated in one or more launches of a Unity-based multiplayer game
- History of introducing and ideating helpful features in games
- Interest and desire to learn more about blockchain technologies
