We are a team of telecom executives, startup veterans, finance professionals, all-star developers and blockchain specialists looking for a Blockchain Developer to serve as a core contributor to the backend development of Telcoin’s existing core remittance platform and digital wallet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Blockchain, Research and Product leads to achieve roadmap milestones
• Design, develop, test, and release features for blockchain node software
• Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy, within a collaboratively minded team
• Evaluate and improve scalability, security and performance of the settlement network

Required Experience:

• Intermediate to advanced systems programming experience in Rust
• Implementing features for a blockchain at layer 1 (Substrate or Rust-based)
• Passion for the benefits of decentralization and the Telcoin mission
• Strong ability to meet project milestones and ability to work with teams in different time zones
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred:

• Expertise in the Ethereum Virtual Machine and it’s run-time
• Knowledge of cross-chain bridging mechanisms and protocols
• Development and testing of consensus protocols
