The Role

The Senior Data Analyst plays a vital role in interpreting complex data sets, deriving actionable insights, and enhancing analytics across Swan. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working with complex datasets and systems, developing visualizations, and empowering teams to make strategic decisions.

Your responsibilities

• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and more to identify business opportunities and ensure teams are interpreting data correctly. Identify data, metrics and analysis needs for partners across the organization.
• Maintain and expand core metrics. When needed, prototype new analytics and metrics to enhance our insights and products.
• Create dashboards and data tools to track and understand business and product performance.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, metrics definitions, and queries that teams rely on.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and strong execution. Turn data insights into compelling narratives and share these insights throughout the company.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to teams and executives, providing data-driven analyses to prioritize opportunities and offer actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate on new data initiatives, reporting automation, process improvement, and trainings.
• Lead analytics projects to completion with best-in-class execution and accuracy.

Skills and experience that will help you succeed

• Bachelor's or higher in directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in a Data Analyst role, ideally within the fintech industry, with a solid foundation in data analysis techniques and making data approachable.
• Expertise in SQL/PostgreSQL and proficiency in data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
• Experience working with and influencing multi-disciplinary teams consisting of engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Deep knowledge of Bitcoin and a passion for its potential in transforming financial services.
• Proactive and forward-thinking. You anticipate where we want to be, not where we’re at.
• Comfortable with contributing to projects outside of the ordinary scope of your role.
