Cake DeFi is seeking a talented Motion Artist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning animations for video/social media as well as micro-animations for our mobile app. We are looking for an individual who can bring their passion and expertise to the table and help us create dynamic and engaging content for our brand.

What you'll do

• Conceptualize, design and create visually stunning animations.
• Play an active role in shaping Cake DeFi's corporate identity and brand look through your designs and creativity.
• Work with two teams: the marketing team to develop and execute creative campaigns and projects that align with our brand and marketing goals and the product team to create engaging in-app animations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all designs meet the desired objectives and are delivered on time.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies and bring new ideas to the team.
• Ensure all designs adhere to the Cake DeFi brand guidelines and standards.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

What you'll need

• Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, product designs, and illustrations.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience in using Figma.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and composition.
• Experience in creating video / social media content, infographics and product designs.
• Strong knowledge and passion for the web3 and cryptocurrency space.
• Ability to effectively simplify complex concepts into easily understandable animations that are engaging and informative.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. We are looking for team players who support one another.
• Ability to take feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs.
• 3D animation skills are a plus.
• Startup experience is a plus.
