About the Team

The Key Management team in Fireblocks is responsible for the software components that govern the

creation, management and usage of cryptographic keys, in the context of making on-chain and off-chain operations for our clients, directly handling the most sensitive and secret bits of information within the Fireblocks platform, while operating in an extremely adversarial environment.

 

What You'll do:

Among other things, this includes:

* Implementing novel cryptographic algorithms and protocols

* Integrating with external systems to securely store and manage cryptographic keys

* Designing and implementing backup and recovery procedures

* Improving the performance of cryptographic operations such as reducing latency and increase throughput

* Ensuring that all cryptographic operations are performed in the most secure manner and while taking into consideration scalability aspects.

* Increasing reliability of our software and its deployments

* Troubleshoot and resolve various issues.

* Conduct periodic on-call duties and emergency response.

 

What you'll bring 

* Relevant Academic credentials with mathematical foundations (Bsc in Computer science or similar)

* Strong coding skills in C++ (At least 5 years)

* Proficiency with another high level language such as Python, TypeScript or JavaScript

* Experience in either parallel systems, asynchronous runtimes or performance oriented software

* Background in either Cyber Security, adversarial environment, or mission-critical software.
