Â
What You'll do:
Among other things, this includes:
* Implementing novel cryptographic algorithms and protocols
* Integrating with external systems to securely store and manage cryptographic keys
* Designing and implementing backup and recovery procedures
* Improving the performance of cryptographic operations such as reducing latency and increase throughput
* Ensuring that all cryptographic operations are performed in the most secure manner and while taking into consideration scalability aspects.
* Increasing reliability of our software and its deployments
* Troubleshoot and resolve various issues.
* Conduct periodic on-call duties and emergency response.
Â
What you'll bringÂ
* Relevant Academic credentials with mathematical foundations (Bsc in Computer science or similar)
* Strong coding skills in C++ (At least 5 years)
* Proficiency with another high level language such as Python, TypeScript or JavaScript
* Experience in either parallel systems, asynchronous runtimes or performance oriented software
* Background in either Cyber Security, adversarial environment, or mission-critical software.
Â
Advantages
* Experience with blockchain or cryptography
Fireblocks' mission is to enable every business to easily and securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. In order to do that, we strongly believe our workforce should be as diverse as our clients, and this is why we embrace diversity and inclusion in all its forms.Â

What does a back-end developer in Web3 do?
A back-end developer in web3 typically works on the server-side of a web application, using technologies that are specific to the decentralized web (also known as Web3-related)
This might involve building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports decentralized applications (dApps), or developing the underlying smart contracts and blockchain-based systems that power those dApps
In general, the goal of a back-end developer in web3 is to create the technologies and tools that enable users to interact with the decentralized web in a secure and seamless way.
