About Tesser
Tesser simplifies cross-border money transfers for licensed financial institutions. We help financial institutions move money between countries as easily and cheaply as you can within them. With a platform that is purpose built for financial institutions, we empower them to compete directly with dominant web3 native players.
Our team includes veterans from Circle, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and MIT. We're backed by top-tier VCs and have a multi-year runway.
Early team members have meaningful ownership and direct influence. If you care about payments and believe in blockchainâs potential to reshape them, youâll fit right in. We move fast and value clear thinking over ego.
The role
Youâll be the third full-time employee, working closely with the founder and lead engineer. Youâll have space to build and freedom to shape product and technical decisions.
- Write code every day. Ship constantly.
- Itâs mostly greenfield without legacy systems to maintain.
- Design and build infrastructure thatâs secure and scalable.
- Help steer the product roadmap.
- Stack: TypeScript and AWS at the core. We expect to add Python, Rust, and Solidity as we grow.
- Competitive salary, equity, and benefits.
About you
Youâre hands-on and independent. You want to ship real things and avoid bloated org charts and endless meetings.
- Youâve designed and deployed distributed systems for 6+ years.
- You work well without needing direction.
- Youâre curious about how money moves and the future of finance.
- You might come from a deep Web2 background and want in on Web3. Or maybe you already have deep DeFi experience and are looking for true product market fit and not more gamble-fi.
- Bonus if youâve worked in payments or with stablecoins.
This is a rare chance to join something early in a sector thatâs about to explode. Weâre building whatâs next in global finance. Come do it with us.
