As a People & Culture (P&C) Specialist at Flipster
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented People & Culture (P&C) Specialist to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll, policy management, and employee development. You will be a key player in ensuring a positive employee experience and fostering a thriving company culture.

Responsibilities

    • Onboarding & Offboarding:
    • Manage the end-to-end employee and contractor onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
    • Track probation periods and facilitate reviews.
    • Manage the termination and offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies.

    • Employee Relations:
    • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and transparent manner.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions.

    • Employee Engagement & Culture:
    • Conduct eNPS surveys, analyze the results, and develop actionable improvement plans.
    • Organize engagement events such as monthly snack days and the year-end party.
    • Coordinate the Core Value Champion nomination process to recognize and celebrate employee achievements.

    • Performance Management & Development:
    • Support the performance review process by coordinating and tracking reviews, providing necessary data, and assisting managers.
    • Assist with the promotion process, ensuring alignment with company policies and performance criteria.
    • Collaborate on employee development initiatives to foster continuous learning and growth.

    • Policy & Documentation Management:
    • Maintain and update the Employee Handbook and Independent Contractor Handbook to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies.
    • Create and update company policies, documents, and letter templates as needed.
    • Oversee the management of the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.

    • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
    • Manage payroll and reimbursement claims for employees and contractors globally, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Oversee leave management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
    • Handle work pass applications (EP, S Pass, Work Permit) and ensure compliance with Singapore's employment regulations.

    • Workplace Operations:
    • Manage office seating arrangements to optimize the work environment.
    • Assist with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Labor Market Survey and other statutory reporting requirements.
    • Support various ad hoc tasks and projects related to HR and office management.
    • Other administrative works

Qualification

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws and employment regulations.
    • Experience managing payroll, work passes, and HRIS systems.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage employee relations.
    • Proactive and detail-oriented with a passion for enhancing employee engagement and development.
    • Ability to manage time and tasks in fast-paced environments. 
    • Strong problem-solving skills. 

Preferred

    • Prior experience in event management or coordinating employee recognition programs.
    • Familiarity with MOM requirements and statutory submissions.
    • Business level Korean language skill
