With our continued expansion in the North American market, we are seeking a visionary and innovative Marketing Director to lead our branding, market growth, and strategic communications efforts across regions.
Role Overview
The Marketing Director will oversee Bitstamp’s marketing strategy across North America and global markets. This leader will manage the full spectrum of brand marketing, digital strategy, content creation, partnerships, and public relations. The role requires close collaboration with the executive team to strengthen Bitstamp’s position as a global leader in digital finance and blockchain innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute global and regional marketing strategies aligned with Bitstamp’s brand and business goals;
Define and manage brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all channels;
Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media, content marketing, influencer partnerships, and paid advertising;
Plan and oversee major campaigns, sponsorships, industry conferences, and community engagement activities;
Collaborate with Product, PR, Compliance, and Sales teams to ensure integrated brand communication;
Analyze market trends, user insights, and campaign performance data to optimize ROI and growth strategies;
Build and maintain relationships with media, agencies, and industry partners to expand Bitstamp’s brand presence;
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to foster innovation and performance excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field;
Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a management role;
Prior experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, FinTech, or financial services preferred;
Proven track record in brand development and digital marketing across international markets;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong cross-cultural understanding;
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills;
Demonstrated leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with leading crypto or FinTech companies such as Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, or Ripple;
Understanding of U.S. and EU cryptocurrency compliance frameworks;
Familiarity with Web3, NFT, DeFi, or digital asset ecosystem marketing;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
