As the Director of Marketing, you will lead strategy and manage a multidisciplinary Marketing Team and be responsible for new user and ecosystem growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto industry, a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns, and the ability to think strategically and execute efficiently. This role will be crucial in expanding our market presence for Valora and Mobile Stack, acquiring new users and ecosystem partners, and building a loyal community. We’re also looking for an entrepreneurial marketing leader who likes to set strategy, manage teams, and is also comfortable doing the work in collaboration with an all-star team.  As the Director of Marketing:
You will be responsible for defining and implementing a marketing strategy that drives significant customer acquisition (B2C) and ecosystem growth (B2B and partnerships) to achieve our objective of onboarding the first billion people to web3 via mobile Specifically, you will own strategic positioning of Valora, and all growth initiatives, channels, touch points, and domains:
Domains include strategic positioning, audience definition, branding, communications, growth, lifecycle, etc. as well as providing strategic guidance/input to cross-functional counterparts Touch points include every stage of the marketing funnel from awareness and consideration to activation and advocacy for B2C and B2B audiences Channels include website, blog, email, social (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn), events, paid media, in-app messaging, partner/ecosystem marketing and more
Manage and lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team (3 full-time employees and a portfolio of freelance partners) Develop and lead an integrated marketing strategy to increase user acquisition and ecosystem growth across brand and content channels Create engaging educational materials for our target audiences to engage, inform and motivate them to get the most out of the Valora ecosystem You’ll successfully and actively partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Product & Engineering to uncover business, market, user, and competitive insights to drive impact and results You’ll be responsible for setting & tracking budgets and key marketing KPIs in accordance with company objectives
 You have:
At least 8+ years of relevant marketing and leadership experience Experience in marketing consumer mobile applications, ideally in fintech/crypto; or have worked on partnership / ecosystem marketing for a web3 project Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability partner effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment Management experience, and a passion for growing teams and mentoring others Awareness of the evolving landscape of marketing tools, technologies, resources, trends and best practices Desire to stay informed on the crypto industry, relevant current events and pop culture Personal alignment with the company mission and values High emotional intelligence, and a highly collaborative and can-do spirit Working knowledge of common business tools (e.g. Slack, Notion, Google Workspace) and marketing tools (e.g. Contentful, CleverTap, Google Analytics, Sprout)
