We have successfully incubated the Mina Protocol and are now in the next stage of our journey as the world’s premier zero-knowledge tooling provider. o1Labs is seeking an experienced and visionary VP of Marketing to lead our marketing strategies and initiatives, shape the brand's presence, and drive user engagement. As o1Labs’ VP of Marketing, you will be a key member of the execution and strategy of all marketing efforts for [Project Untitled], a novel state management solution for web3. Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, including community, content, event, and partnership marketing to drive growth to the Mina ecosystem and o1labs’ projects.  Build and lead a high-performing team executing campaigns across various channels to promote o1Labs products, services, and values. Navigate the complexity of digital and physical social and community in web3 constantly while cutting through to the target audience. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure brand consistency. Drive programs and initiatives that enable developers to find value, achieve their goals, and actively participate both within Project Untitled and Mina and for o1Labs in general. Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry players, influencers, and media outlets to amplify o1Labs' presence. Build community by identifying and supporting advocates and ambassadors who champion the community within [Project Untitled] and Mina and for o1Labs in general. Oversee the creation of engaging content, such as social media campaigns, blog posts, videos, and press releases, to enhance brand engagement. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize strategies for growth and impact. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform marketing decisions and ensure compliance.

Requirements

Proven track record in marketing & marketing leadership roles within the fintech, crypto, or tech industries with successful product & project (w/ token) launches Someone willing to take risks knows when to throw out the marketing playbook, and is willing to do things that don’t always scale but are effective and meaningful.  Someone who has created rockstars around them, made developers, community members, and leaders in the ecosystem louder, and helped them find their audience and voice. A repeatable history of building community within open source ecosystems that lead to the overall growth of an ecosystem leveraging influencers Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making Able to travel to attend multiple events a year as a representative of o1Labs
