Marketing, DeFi Community Curator (Social Media)
### **What you'll do**
- Strategize: Own DELV’s presence on its social channels, including X/Twitter, Farcaster, Discord, Telegram, and YouTube.
- Listen: Drive Social Listening and Market research: Leverage social media tools such as Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, as well as posting schedules and other tools to identify content trends.
- Identify Trends: Monitor DeFi and Web3 community trends to identify engagement opportunities to tactfully embed our voice in the conversation.
- Write: Deliver expressive and tight social media copy, with flair.
- Host: Setup, facilitate, and host regular X/Twitter spaces on engaging topics and topical conversations with our team, supporting teams, and DeFi thought leaders
- Engage: Speak for the DELV brand outside of planned campaigns, immersing yourself in the conversation around brand awareness and what's happening in the crypto/DeFi space.
- Research: Oversee social research, planning, calendaring, creative development, publishing, moderation, and reporting.
- Report: Maintain social media tracking, metric reporting, and perform optimizations.
- Support: Answer questions and resolve areas of confusion from the community as they arise.
- Experiment: Try out different ideas to boost audience engagement and promote DELV.
- Target: Identify target audiences and develop tactics to engage existing partners and acquire new DELV advocates.
- Lead: Take the experience you have from building thriving communities from the ground up, and speak to the difficulties and strategies you employed.
- Evaluate: Qualitatively, and quantitatively evaluate social trends as they evolve.
### **Qualifications**
- 2-5 years of hands-on social media marketing and community management experience.
- You intimately understand social media, including: X/Twitter, Farcaster, Telegram, Instagram, and YouTube.
- You live and breathe social context – you understand how social engagement works and enjoy creatively integrating crypto and mainstream trends into social content.
- Passion for DeFi.
- Ability to transform crypto terminologies into concise social media copy.
- Expert at best practices for the top social media platforms – with a curiosity for understanding new social platforms and tools.
- Proficiency in social media publishing, listening and measurement tools.
- You have a passion for data and can quickly assess market movements to generate content that’s on brand, on point, and sometimes, on the fly.
- You're a storyteller with an eye for detail, and mastery of both technical and aesthetic best practices for copy, images, and video across social platforms.
- You’re motivated, resourceful, agile, and can thrive independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced startup.
