We’re actively contributing to marginfi, the margin protocol for trading across Solana. It unifies the trading experience across markets through mechanisms that automate margin management and maximize capital efficiency. marginfi is designed for sophisticated traders and has an exciting roadmap that will unlock complex trading strategies in the Solana ecosystem.

Our team consists of experienced professionals with backgrounds in quantitative research, machine learning, MLOps, and DevOps in the fields of tradfi, healthtech, robotics, transportation & more.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a community lead to be a core part of the team. We need a crypto native individual who can organize movements, demonstrate credibility in a cross-chain environment, and inspire a variety of new stakeholders to maximize the Solana defi ecosystem.

We are looking for someone who is excited to build from the ground up, who believes in open source code, and who has conviction that globally accessible markets will change the world for the better.

The Opportunity:

• Scale marginfi’s reputation from the ground up
• Build a community around elite retail traders, whales, trading firms and more
• Integrate marginfi’s community across different protocols, applications and chains
• Build scalable workflows where independent contributors can seamlessly add value
• Ensure essential infrastructure is used and understood by the masses

Preferred Qualifications:

Governance - A demonstrated history of participating in governance forums across different chains - Active voting on improvement proposals across different chains - An experienced understanding of proposals’ impact on a variety of stakeholders across multiple time frames

Tokenomics - An understanding of the intersection between active holder involvement, education, and community management - The ability to drive effective conversation in the context of a global financial system with a focus on the nuances of crypto markets - Frequent (or obsessive) personal experimentation with trading across different crypto products

Content - The ability to engineer content aimed at a variety of stakeholders (primarily institutions, protocols, and retail) - An intuitive push to publicize your thinking and map out new concepts quickly - A nuanced understanding of communication with crypto natives and non-crypto natives.
