The Role:
We are looking for a Content Writer who has experience writing high-quality content to join our rapidly growing marketing department. You are a proactive and diligent person with great initiative. You are a natural storyteller who understands the online environment, along with the various channels and touchpoints that exist within it.
You will create and manage content for many digital platforms - websites, blogs, social media, how-to guides, scripts for videos, mobile, and more - following the global brand direction, >
Over composing convoluted copy, you favour clean, action driven content and understand that when it comes to complicated concepts, less really is more.
Responsibilities:
- Creating well researched, refreshing & inspiring copywriting for website, social, EDM’s, blogs, advertising, products, and more.
- Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the firm's mission
- Communicate and cooperate with the content manager, social media manager and other stakeholders in the content creation process
- Manage a busy workload according to deadlines
- Organize, modify and update existing content, along keeping the department’s shared content calendar up to date
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as website, email marketing, product descriptions, blogs and social media
- Incorporate our search engine optimization strategy guidance in your content creation process to maximize the online visibility in search engine results
- Proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English or related field.
- 3-4 years agency experience or in a similar role.
- Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.
- Excellent command of the English language
- Proficiency with popular content management systems.
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
- Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
- Crypto Native would be a great advantage
- Experience sprucing up product descriptions on eCommerce websites
- Writing, copy editing, and proofreading experience
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Proficient in retail “Marketing Language”
- Experience in social media
- Additional languages a plus - Mandarin, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, etc
