About the role

As Associate Creative Director of NFT Content for Crypto.com, you will be hands-on conceiving and developing NFT programs for some of the biggest and most well-known brands in the world. Our role is to help these companies facilitate a transition to blockchain/web3/crypto, primarily by collaborating on NFT programs utilizing their IP. It is a fast-paced, always-on role, as the adoption of NFTs is increasing rapidly around the world, and every company is thinking about their own unique strategy. Your job is to help bring those strategies and objectives to life, creating long-term value not just for our partners, but also for the communities that own and hold these NFTs. Creative problem-solving, an optimistic approach, and steady patience towards an objective will be traits that you utilize daily. Come help us shape the future of the NFT space. Our team is fully remote, and we welcome candidates from anywhere in the North American and European regions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish broad, creative direction for brands wanting to enter the NFT space and turn those into specific concepts and pitches for brand owners to react to.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our partner’s activities, business goals, competitive landscape, and overall culture to weave into our proposed programs and drop content.
  • Create concept decks, mood boards, initial mockups, and program pitches to help visually communicate to stakeholders the elements of a potential NFT programs.
  • Write detailed creative briefs for our Creative Studio or external creative partners to execute upon, taking the agreed-upon direction of your program pitch to the tactical level, providing enough direction for designers and animators to turn into final assets
  • Art direct priority NFT projects, providing styling, design direction, and references at a high level, building around the brand constraints
  • Oversee a team of designers and animators, providing specific direction and feedback so that all final assets are produced to our exacting standards
  • Present project concepts to both internal and external stakeholders, laying out not just the creative vision, but also details around the drop mechanics, the consumer benefit, and how the program can be extended into other business verticals (Marketing, Press, Experiential, etc)
  • Work closely with 3rd party Creative Studios in US, EUR, and APAC, extending NFT programs for some of our biggest partners, tying programs into other Sponsorship activations
  • Work jointly with the rest of the Crypto.com NFT and Brand teams (in US/EUR/APAC) to deliver significant projects in selected territories/verticals
  • Be tapped into the broader NFT ecosystem, understanding what programs are resonating with consumers and why, seeking ways to integrate successful elements into our programs
  • Leverage in-depth understanding of client needs, business strategy, and key client initiatives, and map these to the Crypto.com NFT product portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in graphic design, advertising, creative writing, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of successful experience leading creative briefs and art direction/production.
  • An online portfolio showcasing your design, writing, and conceptual abilities.
  • A storyteller at heart, with a creative and curious mind, and an eye for visual craft.
  • Excellent experience with using Adobe Creative Suite and other design applications.
  • Vast knowledge of the creative-technology landscape, with the ability to reference past projects and executions to translate high-level ideas into actionable project plans
  • The ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable presenting and pitching ideas to external clients; experience pitching to global brands and executives preferred
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to manage conflicting requirements from different stakeholders.
  • Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the NFT space and the technology that powers it.
