The Role: Accountant (Crypto)
Oceans is seeking highly ambitious candidates in Sri Lanka to become Crypto Accountants.
Responsibilities
- Track and reconcile cryptocurrency transactions across multiple wallets and blockchains.
- Integrate digital asset wallets with accounting software to streamline financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements for crypto-focused entities.
- Collaborate with accounting managers, and all qualified Chartered Accountants, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
- Navigate complex crypto transaction structures and ensure proper tracing and documentation of transactions.
- Will require to cover both the fiat + crypto sides of accounting as needed.
- Strong background in accounting with a professional designation (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred).
- Proven experience in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
- Substantial experience and a passion for crypto space; not just personal wallet ownership.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Cryptio and Integral is highly desirable (training will be provided if necessary).
- Proficiency in digital asset accounting and reporting.
- Ability to analyze and trace transactions across multiple wallets and blockchains.
