Senior Backend Architect - Java
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement crypto-related products such as crypto exchange, fiat gateway, futures, margin, lending and more
- Lead the creation of systems that will scale 100x, driving transformative infrastructure and architecture upgrades
- Lead and guide day-to-day development activities through hands-on involvement in architecture decisions, designs, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation
- Set up and maintain system infrastructure
Requirements
-  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 7+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership/management position
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver high business impact and breakthrough results in fast-moving environments
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and familiarity with the Spring framework
- Expertise in MySQL and experience with at least one NoSQL database
- Proficient in distributed system design and knowledge of at least one messaging middleware and its design principles
- Strong cross-team communication skills
