About the role

The role includes designing within the pillars of brand (Serotonin.co), marketing for our clients, and digital products we are building.

The Sr. Digital Art Director will work closely with the VP of Design, Senior Digital Designer and Brand Designer to ideate, present, and refine ideas from cradle to launch across our brand as well as our clients. The role carries an emphasis on being able to converse and take constructive criticism from Serotonin and client-side stakeholders. A candidate with a curiosity, fascination, or entry-level understanding of crypto, blockchain, DeFi, and web3 is sought after.

The Digital Art Director at Serotonin is one who is excited to craft the visual language and narrative of emerging tech. A designer with utility experience and skills that are adaptable and timely.

Responsibilities

• Brand identity design involving the creation of logo(s), logo mark, word mark, color palette, typography, in-situ examples
• Presentation/deck styling and assets
• Art direction and creation of imagery for social (Twitter, Medium, etc.)
• Ideate, create, and present ideas for assigned projects for both Serotonin in-house teams as well as clients
• Commission or create key art for web design, marketing, or internal Serotonin brand projects
• Be able to translate strategic and marketing needs into design work
• Prospectus, white paper, and report >
• Design within our client/partner brand guidelines
• Facilitate the creation and elevation of the Serotonin brand

Requirements

• An ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of experience within the digital landscape demonstrating marketing, brand, and digital product design work.
• Experience and expertise with the following design tools and project management applications:
• Experienced in utilizing AI design softwares to more effectively produce content
• Adobe CC: Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Illustrator, After Effects
• Figma
• Webflow (interest in)
• Notion
• Google Suite
• MetaMask or another crypto wallet
• Understanding of digital tools like Monday
• Brand design experience a must
• Experience commissioning illustrators, photographers, 3D art
• Stay up to date with the news and evolving landscape of emerging technologies in the worlds of DeFi, web3, crypto, and blockchain technologies
• Web proficient. No need to worry if you don't code, we just want you to be able to navigate the UX/UI perspective when creating for Serotonin or our clients.
• Self-management skills an intrinsic must, especially in a remote-centric role. Serotonin team members span the globe in different time zones!
• A positive mental attitude. The Serotonin team relishes in having a work dynamic where all members of the team carry the same importance of roles and responsibilities throughout projects.
