Substance Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational integrity and compliance of the company’s entities to ensure they meet the necessary substance requirements. This role is critical for maintaining effective communication with banks, electronic money institutions (EMIs), payment providers, crypto providers, and other third parties, thereby ensuring that all payments are executed smoothly without complications.Substance Manager leads the preparation of company profiles, business plans, service descriptions, and technical documentation. In addition, the role demands collaboration with various internal departments to ensure that substance-related projects, including intellectual property registration and IT deliverables, are executed effectively. With strong project management skills, this role proactively identifies and addresses potential issues, ensuring all entities comply with regulatory standards and maintain operational efficiency. About your key responsibilities and impact:

Substance management: Overseeing ongoing management of substance for all entities; ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; and maintaining robust relationships with financial institutions and other counterparties. Company Profile Preparation: Developing and maintaining comprehensive company profiles, including business plans, service descriptions, and technical specifications; while identifying and engaging relevant subcontractors aligned with the company’s substance profiles. IT Capitalization and Technical Descriptions: Preparing and managing detailed technical descriptions of software and IT developments to support capitalization; ensuring all intellectual property is documented and registered as needed. Project Coordination: Managing substance-related projects by coordinating with internal departments such as finance, IT, legal, compliance, and operations; to ensure timely execution. Quality Assurance: Validating the functionality of substance deliverables (e.g., documents, invoices, IT systems, websites); by testing and ensuring they meet quality standards. Stakeholder Communication: Consulting with the Treasury team on substance-related inquiries; providing insights to support communication with financial institutions, payment providers, and other counterparties. Identifying IT Needs: Assessing and identifying technology requirements for maintaining substance across entities; collaborating with IT to ensure deliverables meet specified standards, including functionality checks and user acceptance testing. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving substance-related processes; implementing best practices for operational efficiency.

Essential Professional Experience: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in project management, audit, finance, or operations, preferably in a corporate environment; Experience in roles such as Treasury Specialist, Auditor, Compliance Officer, or Project Manager with a financial background; Familiarity with substance requirements and regulatory compliance (preferred); Experience in preparing technical descriptions and intellectual property registration (preferred); Strong ability to assess complex situations, identify solutions, and enhance operational efficiency with keen attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to convey information effectively, coupled with proficiency in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations; Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines; Understanding of rules and regulations related to corporate substance and financial institutions to ensure compliance; Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners; Understanding of IT systems and project management tools to oversee IT-related deliverables; Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and effective time management skills to ensure quality outcomes; Skilled in preparing business plans and financial projections to support the company's substance profile.

Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is an advantage; Other relevant financial certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) are an advantage.
