About the role
Superstate is seeking a Fund Operations Associate to join our Asset Management division, Superstate Advisors, as a team member based in New York.  This is a high-impact role supporting the operational backbone of our funds, USTB ($400m) and USCC ($250m), in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets.  Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you’ll help ensure smooth investor onboarding, daily fund operations, reconciliations, and settlements, while also playing a role in designing scalable processes as we prepare for continued growth.

This is an in-person position in our NY office with an emphasis on collaboration and accountability.  You’ll gain exposure across fund accounting, tax, investor support, and cash management, while working closely with the business development, compliance, and technology teams.  The role offers a unique opportunity to learn the mechanics of both traditional fund operations and cutting-edge tokenized finance, building skills to advance within a rapidly scaling asset manager.

Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, compliance, and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
    • Partner with product and engineering to translate fund operations needs into product features and automated workflows
    • Coordinate with Business Development to align operational workflows with new investor types, counterparties, and distribution channels
    • Process daily cash flow movements, settlements, and subscriptions/redemptions for USTB and USCCPerform daily reconciliations across fund accounts, brokers, and custodians; support the monthly close process
    • Support year-end audits and tax filings, coordinating with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors
    • Maintain and enhance operational controls to ensure compliance with fund policies and regulatory requirements
    • Help design and implement automated operational workflows with new partners and service providers

Skills & Qualifications

    • 1–3 years of experience in fund operations, accounting, consulting, or related financial services role
    • Strong understanding of financial instruments, cash flows, and reconciliations; exposure to fixed income or digital assets a plus
    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, trading, compliance, and engineering teams
    • Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to take on increasing responsibility
    • Working knowledge of blockchain infrastructure and DeFi protocols, including experience trading onchain (AMMs, DEXs, etc.), is a plus.
    • This role is designed for a motivated early-career professional who wants to quickly take on greater responsibility.  Within 3–6 months, the Fund Operations Associate will have the opportunity to own recurring workflows, lead cross-team projects, and contribute directly to building scalable infrastructure as Superstate’s funds expand.
