Near Foundation Marketing Team Our Marketing team is dedicated to driving the growth and adoption of the NEAR Protocol ecosystem by creating compelling narratives, fostering partnerships, and delivering innovative marketing strategies. Our mission is to empower developers, creators, and communities to build a more open, scalable, and user-friendly Web3 environment. We value innovation, transparency, and collaboration in our journey toward advancing blockchain technology and its real-world impact. Role Overview NEAR Foundation is seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to lead and scale our product marketing function across both inbound and outbound domains. This role is pivotal in shaping how NEAR’s products and ecosystem are positioned to developers, partners, enterprises, and end users. You’ll work at the intersection of product, engineering, ecosystem, comms, and brand to influence product strategy, create crisp positioning and messaging, and drive adoption through go-to-market excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong generalist PMM with experience in Web2 product marketing (SaaS, platform, developer tools, or marketplaces), and demonstrates fluency in Web3, crypto, and AI. You’re able to switch contexts quickly, go deep on technical topics, and lead high-impact launches while juggling multiple fast-moving workstreams. You know how to turn ambiguity into clarity, and complexity into simple, compelling narratives that resonate with global audiences. Key Responsibilities Product Marketing Strategy & Ownership

Own the end-to-end product marketing lifecycle, including positioning, messaging, launch planning, and adoption strategy across NEAR’s core products and key ecosystem initiatives. Build structured marketing briefs and strategic frameworks that align with business objectives and product milestones.

Inbound Product Partnership

Act as the voice of the user/ecosystem within product teams by synthesizing user insights, market feedback, and ecosystem needs into actionable product and UX recommendations. Influence the product roadmap by deeply understanding developer workflows, partner integrations, and friction points across the ecosystem.

Go-To-Market Leadership

Lead go-to-market planning for new products, features, and ecosystem announcements. Define launch goals, craft narratives, and drive alignment across product, comms, design, growth, and ecosystem partners. Coordinate pre-launch readiness and post-launch adoption tactics, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes (activation, engagement, retention).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Operate as a key connective tissue across teams, including product, engineering, brand, growth, and business development. Facilitate alignment and transparency across stakeholders, acting as a strong program driver and communicator.

Ecosystem & Partner Support

Collaborate with ecosystem projects, developers, and external partners to deliver co-marketing support, product messaging, and GTM guidance. Provide scalable toolkits and templates that enable ecosystem-led product marketing initiatives.

Messaging & Content Development

Translate technical concepts into simple, clear, and differentiated messaging tailored to developers, investors, and broader Web3-curious audiences. Partner with content and brand teams to deliver high-quality assets—launch materials, decks, FAQs, one-pagers, blog posts, and more.

Requirements

5–8 years of experience in product marketing with proven success in both inbound (product positioning, user insights, roadmap feedback) and outbound (go-to-market, campaigns, adoption) workstreams. Strong background in Web2 product marketing (e.g., platforms, developer tools, SaaS, or marketplaces), with a deep understanding of Web3 technologies, decentralized protocols, and AI-driven product ecosystems. Demonstrated ability to thrive in cross-functional teams and lead without authority. You're comfortable aligning product, design, engineering, comms, and ecosystem leads around shared goals. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. Able to synthesize complex technical information into sharp, clear narratives for a variety of audiences. Highly organized and execution-oriented; able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to connect user needs, product capabilities, and market trends to inform positioning and GTM plans. Experience working in remote, globally distributed teams and navigating ambiguity with clarity and momentum. We value

ECOSYSTEM-FIRST: always put the health and success of the ecosystem above any individual's interest OPENNESS: operate transparently and consistently share knowledge to build open communities PRAGMATISM OVER PERFECTION: find the right solution not the ideal solution and beat dogmatism by openly considering all ideas MAKE IT FEEL SIMPLE: strive to make the complex feel simple so the technology is accessible to all GROW CONSTANTLY: learn, improve and fail productively so the project and community are always becoming more effective
