We design and ship the entry points to Kraken across our website and mobile apps, including marketing surfaces, landing pages, and signup flows that turn curiosity into momentum. The opportunity
As the Senior Engineering Manager you will lead multiple teams responsible for attracting users, earning their trust, and keeping them engaged, even before they sign up. You will partner closely with Design, Product, Analytics, and Marketing to build data-informed, engaging experiences that spark curiosity and drive return visits.
You will oversee acquisition and engagement efforts across Kraken’s website and mobile signup experiences, helping your teams balance quick iteration with sustainable technical foundations. The work spans landing experiences, reusable components for our content platform, and ongoing experimentation to optimize visibility, conversion, and user engagement. You will also play a key role in expanding our reach through search engine optimization (SEO) and new discovery channels such as ChatGPT and other emerging AI-driven platforms. You bring a strong technical presence — able to dive into architectural discussions, review code, and model engineering excellence while guiding teams at scale.
Lead and empower multiple engineering teams to build and optimize acquisition and engagement experiences across web and mobile.
Own key funnel outcomes, including organic traffic, return visits, and conversion from visitor to active user.
Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, and Marketing to design, test, and scale data-driven experiments.
Provide architectural guidance and participate in design reviews, code discussions, and critical technical decisions.
Build and extend reusable front-end components and CMS-integrated systems for content-driven growth.
Expand Kraken’s reach through SEO improvements, web performance optimization, and new discovery channels.
Uphold engineering excellence in performance, reliability, and accessibility across all initiatives.
Coach engineers and managers to operate with autonomy, clarity, and accountability in a distributed environment.
