About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Agglayer CDK, Polygon PoS & Katana.

Your Role

Are you excited by the idea of reshaping how value moves across borders? At Polygon Labs, we're building the future of on-chain finance - and we’re looking for somebody to drive that future in Mexico and Central America.

In this high-impact role, you'll lead efforts to expand our presence in the payments and stablecoins space, build deep collaborations with fintechs, financial institutions, and infrastructure players, and co-create go-to-market strategies that turn potential into real-world adoption. You’ll work cross-functionally to remove friction, unlock new corridors, and help shape the next wave of digital financial infrastructure.

If you’re a natural connector with deep regional experience and a passion for web3 innovation - this role is for you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage key players across the payments and stablecoins ecosystem: banks, fintechs, PSPs, CEXs, wallets, and market makers.

  • Champion Polygon Labs’ product suite and roadmap - highlighting use cases like on-chain FX, cross-border remittances, and the upcoming Polygon Payments Network.

  • Prioritize strategic partners and corridors; shape pilots, integrations, and long-term opportunities.

  • Stay ahead of the regulatory curve by analyzing and reporting on evolving policies impacting digital payments and blockchain in the region.

  • Translate complex developments into actionable insights for both internal teams and external partners.

  • Co-create and execute GTM plans with top-tier ecosystem players; maintain momentum through recurring engagement and clear value delivery.

  • Build and maintain pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and internal briefings to support execution.

  • Manage deliverables across cross-functional teams - legal, engineering, marketing, finance - to ensure end-to-end success.

  • Maintain and improve internal BD tools: CRMs, dashboards, KPIs, and performance trackers.

  • Own operational clarity across all active initiatives in the region.

What You'll Need

  • 6+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, or blockchain - especially with payments, stablecoins, or institutional crypto.

  • Strong network across Mexico and Central America’s financial and fintech ecosystem.

  • Proven ability to lead strategic BD initiatives and drive cross-functional execution.

  • Deep understanding of on-chain finance, including DeFi, stablecoins, and institutional yield.

  • Working knowledge of regional crypto regulations and their impact on financial products.

  • Excellent communicator with strong executive presence and storytelling ability.

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in traditional payments or fintech strategy - especially in product, pricing, or GTM roles.

  • Familiarity with DeFi, remittances, or crypto-native infrastructure.

  • Exposure to M&A, investment evaluations, or deal structuring.

  • Understanding of FX flows, capital controls, and emerging market challenges.

  • Experience crafting collateral for partners, investors, or sales teams.
