As a Site Reliability Engineer - Platform at Kiln, you'll join our Infrastructure Team to build robust and scalable cloud infrastructure. Youāll collaborate with Protocol, Smart Contract and Software Engineering teams to create tools and environments that ensure fast, secure, and reliable software delivery. This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure and plays a key part in scaling Kilnās core platform.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, multi-cloud & bare metal infrastructure
Build internal tools and platforms to streamline development workflows
Ensure high service reliability, uptime, and smooth inter-service communication
Maintain strong infrastructure security practices and compliance (SOC 2)
Improve observability, alerting, and performance monitoring
Guide architectural decisions and promote infrastructure best practices
Collaborate with teams to assess risk and ensure robust delivery
Stack:
Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, bare metal, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, Prometheus, Thanos, Helm, Hashicorp Vault, FluxCD
Software: Golang, Typescript, PHP, PostgreSQL, Solidity
Tooling: GitHub Actions, Grafana, GitOps CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:
5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering (DevOps, SRE) in high-standard environments (ideally FinTech or Crypto)
Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
Proficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt and Helm for IaC and automation
Familiar with Prometheus/PromQL and observability tooling
Experience with secure infrastructure management (e.g. Vault, KMS)
Clear and confident in technical decision-making and collaboration
