About Chainlink
Chainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing the capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance (DeFi). The Chainlink stack provides the essential data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy standards needed to power advanced blockchain use cases for institutional tokenized assets, lending, payments, stablecoins, and more. Since inventing decentralized oracle networks, Chainlink has enabled tens of trillions in transaction value and now secures the vast majority of DeFi.
Many of the world’s largest financial services institutions have also adopted Chainlink’s standards and infrastructure, including Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, S&P Dow Jones Indices, FTSE Russell, WisdomTree, ANZ, and top protocols such as Aave, Lido, GMX and many others. Chainlink leverages a novel fee model where offchain and onchain revenue from enterprise adoption is converted to LINK tokens and stored in a strategic Chainlink Reserve. Learn more at chain.link.
About the Role
This is a high ownership role for an exceptional operator ready to define and personally execute what category-leading social media looks like for the most important infrastructure company in crypto.
As Social Media Lead, you'll own Chainlink's voice across every major platform. You're equal parts strategist and executor: you will set the vision but also draft the posts, cut the clips, manage the calendar, and run campaigns.
We're looking for someone who can take Chainlink's social presence to an entirely new level. Think of a sharper voice, faster reflexes, breakthrough creative, and measurable growth. You'll have the runway, the brand, and the cross-functional support to make it happen, but the final output and the standard of excellence are yours to own.
In practice, this means working with our existing social media team members and partnering with writers, designers, and senior leadership to spot trends early and shape broader narratives. You'll ship content that educates and converts developers, institutional decision-makers, and the wider crypto community. You'll also drive the promotion strategies for high-profile launches and global events, all while staying relentlessly ahead of platform shifts, algorithm changes, AI tooling, and emerging viral formats.
Your Impact
Own end-to-end social strategy and execution across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms
Define Chainlink's voice, point of view, and channel-by-channel social media playbook
Write copy, produce/edit short-form video, ship posts, schedule, and monitor performance daily
Operate a real-time, always-on social presence — newsjack major industry moments, engage with the community, ride narratives, and post with speed and judgment
Drive measurable growth in audience, engagement, and share of voice against the most relevant benchmarks in crypto and fintech
Lead the social strategy for major launches, partnerships, conferences, and announcements end-to-end
Identify and engage KOLs, creators, and key communities across DeFi, institutional, developer, and adjacent verticals
Help stand up a lightweight, AI-augmented production stack so one person to ship at the volume and quality of a much larger team
Report on what's working, eradicate what isn't, and continuously raise the creative and performance bar
Requirements
5+ years owning social media for a high-growth crypto brand, with a clear track record of growing a channel by your own hands, not just by directing others
You are a doer, not a talker. You prefer taking ownership and driving results over sitting in alignment meetings or creating endless strategy docs.
Demonstrably crypto-native: you live on Crypto Twitter, you read the timeline before your email, and you can speak fluently about Chainlink, DeFi, stablecoins, RWAs, and the broader ecosystem
Strategist and executor: you write the strategy doc and then write the posts. Comfortable shipping daily
Elite writing, editing, and judgment under real-time pressure
Strong portfolio of content you personally created, including posts, threads, short-form video, and campaigns with metrics
Track record of growing audiences and driving engagement on X specifically as well as other key channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Deep fluency with AI tools across the social workflow
Exceptional organization and attention to detail; able to run dozens of parallel workstreams without dropping balls
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous, ship-every-day environment where the bar is high and the work is hands-on
Preferred Requirements
Experience building a social presence from zero (or near-zero) to a meaningful brand channel
Hands-on short-form video production and editing (CapCut, Premiere, Descript, or equivalent)
Existing relationships with creators, KOLs, and influencers in crypto
Experience operating within an infrastructure brand where the audience spans retail, institutions, and developers
Experience working directly with senior executives on personal brand and thought-leadership content
