SwissBorg is seeking an Investment Risk Analyst with a strong passion for crypto and DeFi, someone who thrives on taking initiative and thinking creatively.
This role requires an individual who is not only knowledgeable about the intricacies of the crypto space but also proactive in identifying risks, providing insights, and helping shape our investment strategies.
We’re looking for a team member who enjoys diving deep, uncovering potential risks, and guiding decisions with confidence and expertise.
The ideal candidate will act independently, ensuring that our risk processes are robust, forward-thinking, and aligned with the fast-evolving nature of the crypto ecosystem.

It is required for the candidate to be fluent in both French and English and to reside in France.

What you might be doing:

    • Design and implement a robust investment risk model and process applicable to every investment opportunity
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that risk processes are fully integrated into the decision-making workflow.
    • Continuously refine and adapt risk models to align with the evolving nature of the DeFi and crypto markets.
    • Perform detailed risk reports for required investment opportunity, outlining and scoring all relevant risks, including protocol-specific, market, and systemic risks.
    • Prepare and deliver detailed, actionable reports on risk exposures to stakeholders, including recommendations for mitigation strategies.
    • Provide actionable insights on how risk scenarios could impact SwissBorg’s investment opportunities
    • Conduct forward-looking scenario analysis to anticipate potential risks, including extreme events (e.g., LUNA event, FTX event, etc..)
    • Develop and execute monitoring plans tailored to the specific risks of each opportunity.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Monitor and analyze market, credit, operational, compliance, and IT risks associated with our organisation, activities, cryptocurrency trading and investments.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to establish monitoring mechanisms and alert systems for key risk indicators.
    • Highlight macro trends and policy changes (e.g., interest rate changes, regulatory developments) and their potential impact on SwissBorg’s products.
    • Stay informed about updates and changes to protocols, tokens, governance, and regulatory developments, incorporating these into ongoing monitoring and assessments.

What you might bring:

    • Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or similar;
    • At least 3-4 years of experience in risk management analysis and projects
    • Experience in developing and validating end-to-end risk statistical models
    • Experience in the traditional finance sector
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of crypto and DeFi
    • Previous professional experience in the web3 industry is a plus
