Your mission

Join our tight-knit, early-stage distributed team that thrives on interesting technical challenges and building magical products that improve peoples' lives. As a Visual / Brand Designer at CoinTracker, you’ll have a crucial impact on our brand presence and identity, especially as we prepare for our busiest time of year. Working with cross-functional teams and our marketing external marketing agency, you’ll translate brand guidelines into powerful visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, in-product banners, and more. Your designs will enhance the CoinTracker experience for millions of users and create a cohesive, memorable brand across all our channels.

Six-month outcomes

  • Deliver a consistent suite of visually compelling, brand-aligned assets for social media, emails, promos, and in-product banners that drive engagement and resonate with our audiences.

  • Partner closely with marketing, social media, and agency teams to conceptualize and rapidly iterate on creative ideas that support CoinTracker’s tax season campaigns.

  • Ensure design assets meet CoinTracker’s high standards, performing QA on deliverables for polished, on-brand visuals ready for final launch.

What you will do

  • Drive the visual design for marketing assets, including social media content, email templates, promotional graphics, and in-product banners, to support CoinTracker’s omnichannel campaigns.

  • Collaborate deeply with the Head of Marketing, Head of Design, Lifecycle Marketing, and Social Media teams, as well as with external partners, to ensure design work aligns with brand goals and broader campaign themes.

  • Ensure brand consistency by applying design guidelines across all touchpoints, managing and evolving elements like color palettes, typography, and iconography.

  • QA and finalize assets, maintaining CoinTracker’s high standards for quality and branding, ready for implementation or handoff to cross-functional teams.

  • Adapt quickly to feedback and stay up-to-date with design trends, fintech/crypto industry standards, and best practices to create fresh, engaging visuals.

  • Concept and iterate rapidly to meet the fast-paced demands of tax season campaigns, optimizing designs to maximize impact across channels.

  • Has 5+ years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand and marketing design skills. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Demonstrates a high bar for craft and quality, with strong conceptual thinking that brings brand stories to life visually.

  • Is proficient in key design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and prototyping tools like Principle or Framer.

  • Possesses a solid foundation in design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

  • Has experience creating brand-consistent visuals for consumer tech or similar industries, preferably with a cross-functional or marketing focus.

  • Has excellent communication skills and can articulate design concepts effectively while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment and is comfortable navigating ambiguity.

  • Nice-to-haves: Experience in motion design, 3D design, and knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency, or fintech.
