About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to drive our advanced risk modeling and machine learning initiatives. Data is at the core of Chaos Labs, influencing DeFi security, protocol stability, and market insights. Your work will shape the future of blockchain risk management and have a direct impact on millions of users worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Build the first-ever AFI (Automated Financial Intelligence).
- Lead machine learning research to enhance DeFi security and growth.
- Develop data collection strategies to analyze protocol risks, user behavior, and market trends.
- Design scalable ML models for risk management, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with engineering & product teams to deploy models in production.
- Provide actionable insights to improve DeFi security and efficiency.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in ML and blockchain analytics.
Requirements
- 4+ years of data science experience, specializing in ML (Gradient Boosting, SVM, RL, LLMs, PPO, DPO, Instruct, MCTS, etc.).
- Expert in Python, SQL, LangChain & RAG, with strong statistical and analytical skills.
- M.Sc. in CS/EE/IE/DS with Thesis.
- Self-starter with a curious and innovative mindset.
- Team player with a strong sense of ownership.
- Passionate about blockchain & Web3.
- Experience with DeFi protocols & on-chain data is a plus.
