Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Solidity Engineer with strong expertise in Quantitative Finance to join our blockchain engineering team. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of financial instrumentsâsuch as derivatives, swaps, lending, repo markets, and collateral managementâand a strong background in blockchain development and smart contract implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts for quantitative finance (QuantFi) applications.
- Model and implement complex financial instruments and systems.
- Collaborate with frontend/backend teams to integrate smart contracts into web platforms.
- Build cross-chain interoperability and work with various Layer 1 technologies.
- Conduct thorough code reviews ensuring security, performance, and quality.
- Maintain and enhance deployed smart contracts as business needs evolve.
- Stay up to date with blockchain and cryptographic innovations to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.
- Communicate blockchain concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Debug and resolve issues with deployed smart contracts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related STEM field.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Proven experience in Solidity development and Quantitative Finance.
- Background in finance, banking, or trading with understanding of financial systems and instruments.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain security principles and smart contract vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency with Hardhat, Foundry, and Solidity security tools (e.g., Slither, Mythril).
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with unit/integration testing and best development practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in DeFi infrastructure, including derivatives, lending, collateral, and risk systems.
