Our team of experienced product managers, designers, and engineers work together to create innovative products and services that enable smart contracts to securely access off-chain data and systems.

Your Impact

• Organize and grow our developer documentation team focusing on Chainlink’s suite of products and services as well as broader Blockchain and Web3 technologies

• Collaborate with the documentation team to identify high-impact opportunities to improve the developer experience and create world-class technical content

• Coordinate company branding, messaging, consistency, information management, and content strategy for the developer audience with Marketing and other external-facing teams

• Collaborate with the documentation team on the development of our information architecture and strategy

• Communicate with company leadership and keep them informed of project status, metrics, and impact

• Align teams with the overall company strategy and manage planning, the docs roadmap, talent, and team responsibilities for multiple projects

• Organize teams to develop and maintain infrastructure for developer documentation and other developer education platforms

• Manage complex documentation projects with a focus on maintaining high standards for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness

• Provide guidance, support, and career growth opportunities to team members

• Review, edit, and provide feedback on documentation and other customer-facing content to ensure it meets our quality standards

• Understand all the Chainlink products and technology in order to inform holistic content strategy decisions

• Provide secondary coverage to the team for documentation and technical tasks

• Write, test, and update sample smart contracts in Solidity

Requirements

• 7+ years experience as a technical writer, developer advocate, developer, or related role

• 3+ years experience managing one or more teams of technical writers

• Excellent writer and communicator with extreme attention to detail

• Deep understanding of developer communities and how to engage them productively

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments

• Confidence in executing tasks independently and working with remote team members

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and make independent judgments

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively

• Experience writing, testing, and updating code samples

Preferred Requirements 

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

• Understanding of Web3 technology
