We are a Fintech Start-up that scales rapidly in the Asia Pacific region, currently operating out of Singapore (HQ), Malaysia, India, Hong Kong, Australia, and Philippines.

We are an open Commerce platform for DeFi, FinTech, and banking. Businesses use our platform to manage and fund very targeted conversations with customers across banking channels, FinTechs, and cryptocurrency platforms. ‍Integrations across payment networks allow us to embed intelligent promotions - with customers getting rewarded in FIAT or cryptocurrency.

Our IT Engineering Internship Program

We are currently seeking 6 Interns who are persistent, resourceful, and creative, who also wish to start their career in the Start-up arena to join us!

Our Internship Program is a 6 months program that allows you to explore a few key aspects in the IT Engineering Department, exposing you to different technologies and projects. This role will be based remotely and you will be reporting to the Vice President Engineering of Pulse iD.

This is a regional program where you will be exposed to Malaysia, Singapore, India, Philippines, Australia, and Hong Kong markets!

Your key missions include:

You will work with a team of IT professionals and engineers to develop, implement and maintain various technologies for the organization. With a degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology, you will be able to contribute to some of the projects below.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting software codes in accordance with product requirements and specifications.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to design and build meaningful solutions.
• Write clean and testable code accompanied by proper tests and meaningful documentation.
• Perform research and analysis of complex technical problems.
• Work with complex API structures and formats.
• Opportunity to work closely with the Quality Assurance team.

Our tech stack are:

• Language: JavaScript, Python, Go
• Framework: Node.js, React.js, GoLang
• Infrastructure: AWS, Docker
• Tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence

What do you need to have ?

• Completing or completed a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Science or related.
• Strong communication is needed for this program.
• Some experience and interest in any one of the tech stack mentioned above or have any one of the preferred qualifications mentioned below.
• Must be able to commit for a 6 months internship program, subject to conversion at the end of the program
• Must be able to work following Singapore time zone (SGT)

Preferred Qualifications in any of these:

• Experience with DevOps, Python, Software Integration
• Experience with cloud based application desired
• Proficiency with analytics tools
• AWS, Azure, Cloud Formation, Platform LSF/Resource Connector
• SDLC (Waterfall/Agile/SCRUM methodologies)
  Software Engineering Principles (Requirements, Design, Implementation)
• Computer programming fundamentals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with React JS, Node JS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with the latest features (ES6/ES7) is an advantage
• Understanding and applying test driven testing practices (TDD)
• DB experience: Mysql / Redis
• Experience with AWS
• Ability to develop clear consistent, easy to use APIs
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes such as Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, JNexus, Terraform, etc.
