As a Website Designer, you will play a central role in shaping the Design (UX and UI) of the SwissBorg Website as well as related web products like the SwissBorg Blog and Academy. Your primary responsibility will be to craft an exceptional experience on the SwissBorg Website, guiding and leading users to discover and learn about, not only our products but, also crypto in general.
What you might be doing:
- Work closely with the website Product Manager and other stakeholders to create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs that align with our brand identity and business goals.
- Ensure an optimal user experience through intuitive navigation, accessibility, and responsiveness across all devices.
- Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate project requirements into interactive, engaging web pages.
- Collaborate closely with our development teams during the handover process, ensuring that design requirements are meticulously communicated and accurately implemented.
- Continuously enhance the website by diligently analysing user feedback, and extracting valuable insights to improve the existing design.
- Maintain design consistency by actively adhering to and expanding on the internal Website Design System.
So, are you on board? Awesome! For reference, here’s what you might look like:
- You have between 3 to 5 years of experience in a web design role with a proven track record, demonstrated in a well-organised portfolio.
- Your experience includes the successful design of web pages from ideation to handover and quality control (QC) of the implementation.
- Relevant qualifications in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience with responsive web design (mobile and web).
- Knowledge or experience in investment and cryptocurrency is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SEO is beneficial.
Skills:
- You possess strong proficiency in digital design, with a particular focus on Figma.
- You demonstrate a solid understanding of UX and UI principles, enabling you to guide users to easily find the information they are looking for.
- You keep up with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our websites remain innovative and competitive.
- You have a great ability to explore multiple design concepts and transform them into functional and visually appealing solutions.
- You know precisely when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail and when to create low-fidelity sketches and prototypes, all while embracing adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Your basic knowledge of design systems and developer handoff allows for smooth collaboration with the design and development team.
- With good communication and presentation skills, you can confidently articulate your design decisions to both your team and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential to foster effective communication within our diverse work environment with colleagues from around the globe.
