About us:
Syndica is creating the Cloud of Web3. We supply the most critical applications in Web3 with enterprise-grade RPC infrastructure and developer tools tailored for the Solana ecosystem. Joining our team means you'll be held to a high standard, technically challenged, and grow close to a group of individuals passionate about building new infrastructure technologies.
We are backed by strategic partners, investors, and advisors who are all-in on our mission: Chamath Palihapitiya of Social Capital, Steve Jang of Kindred Ventures, Joe McCann of Asymmetric, Jump Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Solana Ventures, Circle Ventures, and many more.
About you:
You’re an experienced front-end developer with a strong understanding of user experience design principles, common usability issues, and accessibility standards.
You’re passionate about developing visually strong, streamlined, and consistent product experiences for end users.Â
You have experience working within the full life cycle of a product: ideation, design, development, implementation, validation, and integration.
You thrive using Figma or other design tools to create mock-ups and detailed notes for front-end developers to follow.
3+ years of frontend development experience focused on React.js.
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
Standout experience:
Experience working at a fast-growing SaaS startup.
Experience with A/B testing.
Experience with using products such as MixPanel or similar.
Familiarity with backend languages such as Rust or Go.
Experience working on multiple large-scale projects across different product lines.
About the role:
As a UI/UX Engineer, you will collaborate with other engineers to develop and deliver beautiful and streamlined user experiences. You will develop processes to promote consistency across the platform and establish a cadence of on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a high-quality, unified user experience while also developing systems to enhance the efficiency and collaboration between design and frontend teams.
Collaborate with design teams to develop and deploy tools for rapid prototyping and testing of key design features, fostering an open, iterative approach to creating seamless user experiences through coding and experimentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various products to ensure the delivery of aesthetically pleasing, accessible experiences that span the entire user journey.
Continuously iterate and deliver alternate design concepts and ideas for review.
What does success in this role look like?
In three months, you have become our go-to UI/UX Engineer, working closely with our design and engineering teams to develop streamlined user experiences.
In six months, you have earned the team's trust, delivered tasks with minimal guidance, and are helping to mentor engineers effectively on all facets of UI/UX best practices.
In twelve months, you have established a cadence of predictable, on-time delivery of best-in-class user-focused experiences.
What does a web3 designer do?
A web3 designer is responsible for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs for websites that are built on the web3 platform
This platform is based on blockchain technology and allows for the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) that can be accessed through a web browser
A web3 designer would be responsible for creating the user interface and user experience for these dApps, ensuring that they are easy to use and navigate
They would also be responsible for ensuring that the overall design of the dApps is consistent with the brand and aesthetic of the organization or individual that is building the dApps.
