Responsibilities:
- Write clean, scalable, testable and maintainable code using Node & TypeScript and React.
- Develop to given specifications and provided guidelines.
- Help build and maintain backend/frontend services that facilitate accounting, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Develop Restful API to the given requirements and specifications and write unit tests using the Jest framework.
- Maintain CI/CD workflows and facilitate upgrading existing workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and testing.
- Work with engineers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience with Node.js / Javascript / Typescript.
- Substantial Front end exposure to React JS.
- AWS Lambda and DynamoDb experience.
- Experience in ES6 coding.
- Microservices exposure preferred.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Participate in the on-call duties with our engineering/Operations team when needed.
- Relational Database experience and exposure to DynamoDb or similar NoSQL database.
- Experience in using git and git enabled services.
- Following coding guidelines and programming standards, experience is highly regarded.
- Functional Programming or OO Javascript experience
- Substantial Exposure following frameworks is preferred:Â Jest, Express/Koa, Serverless exposure
