We are looking for a blockchain engineer who will be responsible for:

• Implementing and maintaining Ethereum smart contracts for the platform, and tokens.
• Pro-actively hardening security of smart contracts.
• Working together with backend and frontend engineers to develop new features of the platform.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has minimum 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Has 1+ year experience working with Solidity.
• Is security concious.
• Expert in language of choice for smart contract framework (Typescript for Hardhat, or Rust for Foundry, etc).
• Adheres to good testing practices.
• Experienced optimizing contracts for gas fees.
• Experienced with building oracles.
• Experienced with indexing blockchain events.
• Exposure to cloud services like AWS.

First project you will work on:

• Implementing next-generation AMM for prediction markets
• Implementing tokenomics and user incentive programs as smart contracts.

UBet focuses on Sports, Fantasy Sports, Trading, Blockchains, and Blockchain / Cryptocurrency. Their company has offices in Toronto. They have a small team that's between 1-10 employees.
