Sr. Software Engineer - Blockchain
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Contribute to the design and architecture of our digital asset recovery platform using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and leadership to translate the product vision into a technically feasible and scalable architecture.
- Actively advocate for best practices, code quality, and maintainability.
- Back-End Development:
- Develop secure and efficient APIs to facilitate platform functionality.
- Design and implement scalable database models for reliable data storage and retrieval.
- Build, maintain, and optimize platform microservices on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation (code comments, design docs, etc.) to describe the platform's internals and operational procedures.
- Foster open communication with team members to ensure knowledge sharing and effective collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize existing workflows for efficiency, speed, and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in relevant technologies and explore their potential applications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of software development experience with at least 1 year of knowledge related to cryptocurrency blockchains.
- Expertise in multiple programming languages, including TypeScript, Python, Go, and shell scripting.
- Experience with blockchain query tools and data encryption techniques relevant to digital asset recovery.
- Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure, including microservices design and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Experience designing, building, and scaling production-grade Swagger/OpenAPI and database solutions.
- Experience building modern web development using Angular and Node.js frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in highly regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
