Description:
We're looking for a talented Engineering Manager to support our team of software engineers. As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for project scoping and prioritization, building culture of accountability and feedback as well as management, coaching and development of engineering team members.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our evolving ecosystem development team, with the goal to contribute to the success of a quickly growing, high-tech start-up company that is making big waves in the blockchain industry. This is a full time, 100% remote opportunity to work with talented crypto team members located all over the world!

Responsibilities
People Management:
Manage a team of engineers who design and build scalable products and features and develop their talent
Be the lead person for future hires on the team

Engineering Leadership:
Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability, culture of feedback and a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization
Collaborate with leadership to set structure, strategy, priorities, and mission for the team
Advise and influence system architecture and design decisions; contribute to R&D

Project Management:
Manage the team’s work planning process, scoping and prioritization
Balance internal team project planning with open community contributor work
Identify technical debt and work towards eliminating it

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
Previous experience as a software engineer
Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality products
A passion and unwavering commitment to improving engineering productivity
Experience scaling products in high growth environments
Experience building an inclusive and diverse culture 
Passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers
Independent and self-driven with ability to quickly learn new things
Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Typescript (Node.JS), Go, or Rust, with a deep understanding of language-specific best practices and frameworks.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, and design patterns, with a track record of architecting and implementing complex backend solutions.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for building scalable and resilient applications.
Knowledge, experience, and understanding on Web3 ecosystem
Interest in interoperability and understanding of Connext value proposition
Comfortable working remotely in an async environment
