About Mona
Summary
Mona’s Platform team is looking for an experienced Full Stack developer to help us push the limits on the next generation of interactive blockchain gaming and metaverse experiences. This person will work directly with the platform team to design, develop, test, and deploy the platform APIs that run the Monaverse.
In this role, you will work closely with Product, Engineering Management, and the Chief Architect to develop technical requirements and designs, while leading the platform team in development of scalable, reliable solutions using microservices and/or serverless technologies on the AWS platform.
What You'll Do
- Lead and implement new features and find creative improvements to existing ones
- Building infrastructure that enables Mona to better serve 3D creators and help them build new worlds
- Simplify infrastructure to make it more reliable, effective, and upgradeable
- Collaborate with product and design teams to develop new features and functionality
- Optimize the performance of our platform and improve the user experience
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
- Adjusting to the requirements of a rapidly growing team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying platform APIs via microservices and/or serverless technologies
- BA/BS, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science or other related technical field
- Strong development language skills in GOLANG and/or JavaScript / Typescript
- Strong experience developing with AWS cloud services (S3, Elasticache, DynamoDB, et. al)
- Strong experience with Docker and/or containerization
- Strong experience using source control systems (GIT) and related processes
- Experience with Node.js andOpenAPI
- Ability to plan, design, and implement high-quality APIs and services
- Ability to design, build, and maintain efficient, reliable and reusable code
- Strong team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with other developers to create scalable and reliable services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Familiarity with Terraform
- Familiarity with Unity development tools
- Familiarity with recording and monitoring platform performance and analytics
- Familiarity with Blockchain, Crypto, NFTs, Ethereum, and the Web3 space
