Sparring is a disruptive international, innovative law firm supporting startups, VCs and technological companies, under Czech, Slovak and US jurisdictions. Our typical agenda includes corporate setup often with international aspects, scaling businesses abroad, founders’ relations, venture investments, IP, technology contracts, fintech and healthtech regulatory and data protection. Our team members have previous experience both from established law firms and in tech startups, but all share a passion for startup law and innovation.

In the last two years, we have grown from 14 to 50 people. With the goal of further expansion, we are now looking for someone to support our Marketing and Sales Leads in providing further services to startups and founders.

Your role at Sparring

• Assist our European teams in event organization, including coordinating speakers and logistics for in person events

• Make graphic design changes to our Sales and Marketing assets and communicate with our Design team

• Provide the Marketing team support such as copywriting for social posts and sales decks

• Identify and research target companies for Sparring as potential leads and/or partners

• Monitor and update the team regarding relevant events for community development and lead generation

• Manage communications with some of our existing partners

• Keep up with new social formats.

• Maintenance of all social media channels ensuring all content.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a proactive individual with:

•  strong communication skills, excellent organization and a professional approach. 

• A successful applicant will be a fast learner who is comfortable with working independently, and has a good eye for detail.

• Fluent in speaking and writing in English.

• Interpersonal skills required

• Experience within sales support or event management in a startup (or at a law firm) is ideal but not a must.

We are offering a compensation package starting from 1,300 EUR gross monthly, 5 weeks of vacation, and unlimited sick-days as our trust will be mutual. You can also participate in many exceptional events within our offices around the year.
