The BitGo Prime team is a dynamic, high performing group that provides critical operational service to our institutional trading, lending, and borrowing clients in partnership with our Trust custody and compliance entity; global account managers and salespeople; and finance and accounting. Our extended unit consists of a diverse group of trading, lending, and KYC/AML professionals with extensive backgrounds in traditional and crypto-finance, including front, middle, and back office.

The Prime Analyst Intern will work for BitGo’s Prime unit in Palo Alto, CA or New York, NY snd be responsible for learning the business and operations flows in order to improve automation and business logic implemented in JavaScript and Google App Script.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Learning BitGo Prime’s front to back operations and client service flow
• Working closely with BitGo Prime service team, including Head of Trading, Head of Lending, Counterparty Risk Manager, Client Service Managers, and Head of Loan Servicing, as well as other key BitGo stakeholders
• Analyzing complex Google Sheets used internally to manage Prime’s loan portfolio, generate trading metrics, and manage counterparty risk
• Integrating existing tools with BitGo’s wallets API
• Updating business logic and automation implemented in JavaScript and Google App Script
• Identifying and address gaps in logic, fault tolerance, and risk
• Leading process improvements: recognize gaps, recommend improvements, and implement new processes

About You:

• Hands on experience with Google Sheets, App Script, and JavaScript
• Ability to analyze operations and asset flows and procedures
• Ability to come onsite (Palo Alto or New York) periodically throughout the internship
• Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to effectively interact with others in a pleasant, professional manner
• Genuine interest in financial services and cryptocurrency; personal crypto experience is a plus
