About the role
Our Front End Engineers are self-starters, and quick learners, with an interest in Ethereum and blockchain technologies. They are people who communicate effectively, consistently ship high quality, well-tested code and value code simplicity, performance, and the details.
Responsibilities
- Working with JavaScript, HTML CSS, and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in front-end technologies
- Writing efficient, modular, and reusable components and libraries to build out a complex UI
- Preparing and shipping code using a variety of technologies such as Node.JS, Webpack, Gulp, etc
- Delivering high-quality user experiences
- Working with other engineers and designers in an Agile software development environment to develop and ship features
- Workingcollaborativelywith your team with opportunities to work in a cross-disciplinary way at different levels of the tech stack
- Actively participating in the design, development, and review of the code base
- Continually evaluating and improving the platform as it scales
Required skills
- Willingness to learn new tools
- Solid experience with React (or similar frameworks), HTML, and CSS
- Experience writing reusable UI components (React, Web Components, etc)
- Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, etc
- Experience testing javascript frontend applications and a passion for writing tests to ensure delivery of high-quality user experiences
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
- You are familiar with data structures and algorithms and can make informed optimizations when appropriate
- Comfortable prototyping ideas and iterating them based on user feedback
- Experience implementing strategies for SEO and marketing analytics
