YOUR PURPOSE
Coin Metrics is recruiting a Cryptoasset Research Analyst. Our Cryptoasset Research Analyst will cover large cap cryptoassets, leveraging our data products to produce analysis and reports highlighting the potential positive and negative forces at play with respect to a particular cryptoasset.
YOUR VALUE
- Analyzing major public blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana
- Examining underlying on-chain and market data to identify insights and trends
- Conducting comparative analysis across cryptoassets in the same sector
- Contributing to our research reports and newsletters
- Creating coverage initiation pieces and monitoring the performance of cryptoassets over time
- Meeting the people who work on the cyrptoasset development teams
- Consulting with our clients, sales and marketing teams
- Staying up to date with the latest technical developments in crypto
YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
- Interest in and understanding of cryptoassets and blockchain technology
- Strong writing skills
- Experience with data analysis and financial modelling
- Previous sell- or buy-side research experience
- Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related field or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Python or R is desirable
