Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) is building the developer tools to bring the world onchain.
Today, onchain development is slow, risky, and painful, even for the most experienced onchain developers. Our goal is to bring a million developers onchain by creating an easy to use and trusted developer experience. We build API and SDK products for developers like wallets, paymaster, staking, stablecoins, onchain data, and more.
We are a small team that moves like a startup at Coinbase, with a fast pace, strong ownership culture, and a relentless commitment to making developers happy.
Coinbase OnRamp is the easiest way to turn traditional money into crypto on-chain, a key part of onboarding users into crypto and enabling our mission to create an open financial system for the world. Coinbase OnRamp launched 2 years ago and is already used by many of the top Wallets and dApps, across blockchain ecosystems.
You will be joining a fast paced team of talented engineers on a mission to become Defacto onramp for the Web 3 industry. We work with internal customers such as CBWallet and Retail Dapp Wallet team along with some big names externally such as Block (Bitkey), Metamask, Phantom wallet and Ledger.
What we look for in you:
- You have at least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
- Scrappy self-starter mindset with willingness to push through friction to improve customer UX
- Experience working fullstack across Web, Mobile, and Backend
- Experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.Â
- You’ve designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture.
- You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
- Passion for Onchain/Web3 and understanding of blockchain technologies, particularly Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains
Nice to haves:
- You have gone through a rapid growth in your company (from startup to mid-size).
- You have experience building on top of Blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc..)
- You have experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
- You’ve built financial, high reliability or security systems.
