BlockFi is looking for a Derivatives Trader to join our growing team!

Your Mission

• Work as a Crypto Vol sales trader
• Client types: Crypto native, traditional funds, high net worth
• Price and trade crypto derivatives across OTC and listed venues
• Collaborate with quants and developers to set up high-touch and low-touch options execution and life cycle management process
• Risk manage a complicated and diverse portfolio of derivatives positions
• Make real-time trading decisions based on systematic signals
• Oversee and improve electronic execution of options with both pre and post trade analysis
• Maintain relationships with a broad set of voice-based liquidity takers and makers
• Help expand trading team capacity by responding to flow
• Work with research to backtest and develop new trading strategies
• Continually seeks to improve desk’s systems, procedures and the team’s investment process
• Produce market color and commentary

Your Expertise

• Passionate about crypto.
• Bachelors or higher degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline.
• Years of experience actively trading: 5 - 10 years.
• Asks insightful questions to continually learn about market dynamics, pricing procedures & client relationships.
• Demonstrate a positive track record of PnL and Sharpe.
• Broader experience in cross-asset trading experience.
• Experience in non-linear products: vanilla and exotics, volatility, correlation.
• Solid foundation of understanding macro
