As a founding member of the Cardano protocol, EMURGO develops, supports, and incubates commercial opportunities and helps integrate businesses into our blockchain system. Due to the continual success and growth plans for 2021/2022, we are looking to speak with Full Stack Developers across our network.

What is involved?

You will be working with the VP of Enterprise who will be managing and leading the technical implementation of the Enterprise Engineering team.

We are looking for a full-stack developer that will help us maintain and improve the existing project codebases, develop new features for trace solutions, and build new products from the ground up.

The tasks might include both frontend and backend development so ideally you must be ready to show equally good results with both.

You will have the runway to:

• Discuss, analyse, and understand new feature requirements with tech-lead and the Product/Program Manager.
• Learn about Cardano, UTXO, EUTXO Design Patterns, and others.
• Develop, Deploy and Test APIs for dApps, Tools and Libraries.
• Maintain and implement new Yoroi web features.
• Implement caching strategies and work closely with our DevOps to improve availability and future demand.
• Participate in product meetings.

What kind of experience and skills are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in Software development.
• Expertise with Javascript (ES6) + Flow (or Typescript).
• Core PHP, Mysql at least 10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel is an advantage.
• 1+ years of experience in React / Redux.
• 2+ years of experience Node.js.
• Experience with SQL databases + at least understanding of non-SQL technologies and principles.
• Good understanding of API architecture following best practices.
• Proficiency with the creation of tests (unit tests, integration, etc).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/ CSS.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of wordpress and web design.
• Good knowledge of version control systems.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Rust.
• Production experience with Docker.
• Production experience with multiple CI/ CD.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals.
