What You’ll Do

As a Senior Protocol + Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and building the Parity liquid staking platform and trading infrastructure. While your focus will be on backend and protocol development, you will also contribute to front-end systems to ensure an integrated, seamless user experience.

You will:

• Architect and develop core components of Parity’s liquid staking protocol with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Design and deploy Solana-based smart contracts using Rust.
• Build and maintain backend systems to support Parity’s trading infrastructure, including integrations with centralized exchanges (CEXes), decentralized exchanges (DEXes), and custodial services.
• Develop backend services using Rust and Node.js, ensuring seamless interaction with trading and staking systems.
• Contribute to front-end integrations and interfaces by collaborating with the design and front-end teams (experience with React is a plus).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across the stack, ensuring robust and reliable systems.
• Take ownership of your work, driving continuous improvement and innovation across all aspects of the platform.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking engineers who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments and are passionate about building transformative blockchain solutions.

You might be a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in backend and full-stack systems.
• Strong proficiency in Rust, with hands-on experience developing Solana smart contracts.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript in backend and full-stack environments.
• A strong understanding of integrating backend systems with CEXes, DEXes, and custodial services in the context of trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React) for seamless user interface development.
• A passion for Web3 technologies, decentralized finance (DeFi), and liquid staking.
• The ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems.
• A proactive mindset and a commitment to collaboration, learning, and growth.
