We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Unity Game Developer to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of complex game systems for mobile platforms. As an integral part of the development team, you’ll drive technical direction, ensuring our games are polished, scalable, and deliver top-tier player experiences. This is an advanced individual contributor role with significant ownership and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with game design, art, and backend teams to translate ideas into functional game mechanics and features.
• Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack components of mobile games, ensuring smooth front-end and back-end integration.
• Implement gameplay features, UI/UX, and visual effects using Unity (C#) with an emphasis on performance optimization.
• Design and develop server-side logic, APIs, and databases for multiplayer and online features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges related to gameplay, networking, and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices, fostering technical excellence.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in systems and development workflows.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to push the boundaries of mobile game development.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Unity Game Developer with a strong portfolio of shipped mobile games.
• Expertise in Unity Engine and C# programming, with a deep understanding of game architecture and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, multiplayer technologies, and server-side development.
• Experience with Git for source control and familiarity with development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects from start to finish.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with game analytics and data-driven development.
• Knowledge of backend technologies (Python, Java, C#) and database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Previous experience in MMO game development or large concurrency systems.
• Passion for gaming and creating high-quality, engaging player experiences.

Tier 1: $166,000 - $228,000

Tier 2: $149,000 - $205,000

Tier 3: $133,00 - $183,000

Locations by Tier:

Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - California

Tier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York state

Tier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New York

*The role is open to candidates in the following states on a remote basis: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Texas & Washington
